The AVX series of air core inductors feature very high Q (>100) in miniature to larger sizes for RF/Microwave applications. These inductors are available in two different constructions including a square cross section construction and an ultraviolet glue molded construction for easier handling.
AL Series
AVX Air Core RF Inductors, part of the wound air core inductor family, are ideal for RF circuits, broadband I/O filtering, frequency selection, or impedance matching. The air core inductor provides better performance over solid core inductors with higher Q, and better current handling capabilities.
AS Series
AVX Square Air Core RF Inductors, part of the wound air core inductor family, are ideal for RF circuits, broadband I/O filtering, frequency selection, or impedance matching. The unique square cross section provides better performance and offers manufacturing advantages over toroidal coils.
